Overview

Matchtech are seeking an experienced Site Manager for a shaft sinking and tunnel drive project in Stourport. This is a key role on a specialist civils scheme with a strong emphasis on safe delivery and effective site coordination.

• Manage daily site operations on a shaft sinking/tunnel drive project
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour and plant
• Maintain high safety standards and site documentation
• Support (where required) elements of M&E installation
• Work closely with project teams and client representatives
• Ensure efficient progress and quality across all works
• Liaise with Brian Thomas as the initial point of contact for the project

• Proven background in water or civils projects
• Experience in tunnelling or shaft sinking preferred (but not essential)
• SMSTS certification
• Strong leadership and site coordination skills
• M&E installation experience beneficial but not mandatory
