Material Specialist / Material Handler Location: Aberdeen - Bridge of Don Contract Length: 6 months Rate: 14 - 15 per hourWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Material Specialist / Material Handler to support warehouse and materials operations at a large industrial site in Aberdeen. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, ideal for candidates with strong warehouse experience and valid forklift certifications.The RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe, accurate movement, storage and documentation of materials to support ongoing operations. You will be working closely with warehouse and operations teams to maintain high standards of safety, organisation and inventory control.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment (B1 and B2 essential)Accurately move, store and issue materials in line with work orders and proceduresRead and interpret written instructions, pick lists and operational documentationPrepare clear and accurate reports relating to inventory and material movementsProcess shipping and receiving documentation in line with internal proceduresMaintain awareness of site layout, storage locations and material flowsCarry out basic inventory calculations to ensure stock accuracyAdhere strictly to all health, safety and site procedures at all timesRequirementsValid Forklift B1 and B2 licences (mandatory)Minimum 2+ years'' experience in an industrial warehouse or materials ..... full job details .....
