We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Carpenter Multi-Trade to join a growing housing contractor, carrying out repair and maintenance works to occupied social housing properties across Slough and High Wycombe. Working in partnership with housing associations, you''ll play a key role in maintaining properties to a high standard while providing a professional and respectful service to residents.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out reactive and planned carpentry and general maintenance works within occupied properties.
• Completing carpentry works including repairing and replacing doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves, kitchen units, and flooring.
• Undertaking minor multi-trade tasks such as basic plumbing, plaster patching, wall repairs, tiling, and general making-good works to ensure properties are fully prepared for occupation.
• Identifying and completing required repairs efficiently, ensuring all works are carried out to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment throughout each property, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Using a PDA to manage daily tasks, record job updates, capture relevant information, and accurately complete and close works.
• Operating and maintaining tools and equipment responsibly, ensuring they are kept in good working condition.
• Working efficiently to minimise void periods and ensure properties are completed to the required standard and ready for handover.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (essential)
• Asbestos Awareness, UKATA or IATP
• Basic DBS Check
