They are seeking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join their high-performance finance team. The role is based in their head office in the Antrim area, on the outskirts of Belfast.The Role:Assist with various month-end close proceduresCompany credit card reconciliation, posting all related invoices and paymentsPost transactions and reconcile petty cashProcess employee expense claimsIntercompany account rechargesStatistical reporting to the Department of Finance and other key financial stakeholdersVAT and Intrastat calculations, returns and filingsAssisting to develop and enhance existing policies and proceduresEngage in business improvement initiatives and projectsParticipating in the annual external auditProviding support and cover within the accounts team as required, learning key Accounts Payable, Invoicing and Accounts Receivable processes and skills as part of a rounded Management Accounting trainingPerform other ad-hoc duties as required by managementSkills and experience:Minimum of 1 year''s experience within a busy accounts department Commitment to achieving Accounting Technician and / or accounting qualification (AAT, or equivalent)Demonstrable experience working and collaborating within a team Good professional communication and strong attention to detailComputer literacy with ..... full job details .....
