Head of Tax - RandD Specialist Your new company : I am currently working with a boutique research and development firm based in London, currently seeking a skilled Head of Tax to join their expanding team. This role involves active engagement with the RandD tax team and the broader tax function, taking responsibility for developing the junior members of the team and providing a high level of advice to clients around RandD tax matters.As head of tax, you will be at the forefront of the business, playing a pivotal role in managing and continuously improving processes to ensure clients benefit from comprehensive tax advice, risk mitigation and up-to-date compliance services.The Role: Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimise tax liabilitiesIdentify and obtain tax incentives for RandD activitiesOversee the preparation and submission of accurate tax returnsConduct research on technical tax matters and prepare documentation to support tax positionsLead and mentor a team of professionalsAdvise senior members of the team and the implications of RandD projectsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulationsWhat you''ll need to succeed : Professional Qualification (CTA, ATT, ACCA, ACA)Strong experience in tax with a focus on RandDStrong knowledge of tax lawsProven experience in tax strategy and planningExcellent analytical skillsStrong leadership and team management skillsWhat you''ll get in return : Hybrid working (2 days a week in office)Exposure to a ..... full job details .....
