Domestic Abuse Support Worker

Red Snapper Recruitment are seeking a committed and proactive Outreach Domestic Abuse Practitioner to join our client. You will deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support services to women and children affected by all forms of domestic abuse, including Forced Marriage, Honour-Based Abuse, and FGM. The role involves casework, safety planning, and advocacy, as well as leading referrals into the community team and developing a range of accessible and culturally sensitive support pathways.PermanentFull time monday - fridayCoventry 26,617 Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 support, case management, and advocacy to survivors of domestic abuse.Carry out risk and needs assessments and develop Individual Support Plans.Build strong multi-agency partnerships and support external awareness/training sessions.Deliver drop-in sessions and outreach to engage hard-to-reach communities.Facilitate group support and workshops to empower service users.Support the delivery of community-based services, including liaising with volunteers and champions.Maintain accurate service user records, and contribute to monitoring and reporting systems.Essential Skills and ExperienceExperience working with survivors of domestic abuse, particularly in BAME communities.Strong knowledge of safeguarding, housing, welfare, and legal issues related to DA.Experience delivering emotional and practical support, both in-person and remotely.Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.Understanding of the ..... full job details .....
