The vacancy is for an Audit and Accounts Junior and combines both audit and accounts responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has a few years'' practical audit experience and is looking for their next career move within practice. Alongside gaining exposure to a varied portfolio of audit and accounts work, the successful candidate will receive fully funded professional study and generous study leave.The RoleWorking with clients across a wide variety of industry sectors, your responsibilities will include:Assisting with audit assignments from planning through to completionCarrying out audit fieldwork, both as part of a team and independentlyWorking alongside Audit Seniors and other members of the teamIdentifying risks and control weaknesses and contributing to recommendationsPreparing statutory accounts alongside audit assignmentsPreparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companiesPreparing corporation tax returns for senior reviewEnsuring work is completed accurately, within agreed timescales and in accordance with professional standardsThese duties reflect the client''s existing requirement for someone who can work across both audit and accounts assignments.
