As a Senior Structural Engineer, you''ll provide specialist technical oversight that ensures developments across the borough are safe, compliant and built to last. What you''ll be doing: You will assess building work, demolitions and temporary structures to ensure compliance with the Building Regulations and structural safety standards. Acting as the service''s structural specialist, you''ll provide expert advice on building control applications and enforcement investigations, making informed decisions grounded in professional judgement. You''ll assess risks on site, determine appropriate action and implement immediate remedial measures to protect the public where required. Your expertise will also be used in assessing dangerous structures.
