Class 1 Driver - Alfreton

Gi Group is recruiting dependable Class 1 Drivers to support a respected local freight operator in Alfreton. If you''re safety-focused, efficient across varied routes, and deliver great customer service, we''d like to hear from you.

Key details

• Location: Alfreton
• Shifts: Various available - days/nights/weekends
• Pay rate: -20.17 - -29.13 per hour (dependant on shift)

What you''ll need

• Valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph (DIGI) card
• Minimum 12 months'' Class 1 driving experience
• Clean driving record (max 6 penalty points, subject to endorsement codes)

Your role

• Deliver palletised goods to multiple customer sites
• Around 6 local drops per shift
• Work in line with health & safety and transport compliance standards
• Provide a professional, customer-first service at every drop

What we''re looking for

• Reliable and able to work independently to deadlines
• Confident driving Class 1 vehicles across different routes and sites
• Basic IT skills and a strong, polite customer manner
