Are you ready to lead in a dynamic plastic injection moulding facility? Our client is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the multi-shift operations based in Northampton. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth production, from recruitment and training of shop floor personnel to strategic planning and implementation of lean manufacturing principles.Key Responsibilities:Manage daily operations of a multi-shift plastic injection moulding facility.Recruit, supervise, and train shop floor personnel to ensure operational excellence.Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet targets efficiently.Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and drive continuous improvement.Implement and uphold lean manufacturing principles to optimise efficiency.Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety in the production environment.Desired Qualifications:Experience in managing a multi-shift plastic injection moulding facility.Familiarity with automotive manufacturing and IATF16949 standards (preferred).Strong understanding of Health and Safety practices in a production setting.Proven track record in achieving production targets and implementing lean methodologies.Benefits:Competitive salary in the region of 40,000, negotiable based on experience.Monday to Thursday shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a shorter day on Friday (8 AM to 1 PM).Opportunity to contribute to a thriving production environment in Northampton.If you are a proactive leader with a passion for ..... full job details .....
