The client specializes in the construction and engineering industry, offering diverse project exposure both domestically and internationally.This Managing Director role is suitable for experienced Directors with significant forensic delay analysis expertise on live projects and experience acting as an Expert Witness.Responsibilities and Duties
Perform forensic analysis in alternative dispute resolution (ADR).Provide clear and impartial evidence for tribunals.Manage and develop the planning and delay team.Oversee contractual obligations from procurement to final account.Determine schedules, monitor programmes, and assess risks.Write reports for negotiations and dispute resolution procedures, including adjudication, mediation, and litigation.Provide accurate assessments of project progress.Assist in business development and client acquisition.Desired Skills and Experience
Over 10 years of experience as a construction project planner with disputes consultancy background.Experience as an expert witness.Ability to bring projects/clients into the business.Proficiency in producing and interpreting project programmes and schedules.Exceptional report writing skills.Comfortable in client-facing roles.Leadership and management experience.Ambitious with a desire to contribute to the company''s growth.Qualifications/Educational Requirements
Degree in a construction-related field or equivalent qualification.Membership in a professional body such as CIOB or CIArb is advantageous.Relevant MSc in engineering or Construction Law and Disputes (LLM) is a strong plus.Company Overview
