The business has built a strong reputation for quality and innovation within its specialist market and continues to expand, creating the need for additional support within the finance team.Your new roleIn your new role as Finance Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function.This is a hands-on position within a busy and fast-paced environment, offering exposure to a broad range of finance activities.Key responsibilities will include:Processing accounts payable and receivable transactionsSupporting bank reconciliations and cash allocationAssisting with month-end processesManaging supplier invoices and resolving queriesSupporting credit control activities, including chasing outstanding paymentsMaintaining accurate financial recordsAssisting the wider finance team with ad hoc dutiesThis is a full-time, office-based role (Monday-Friday, 9:00-17:00) and offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.What you''ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will ideally:Be AAT qualified or part-qualifiedHave prior experience within a Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant roleHave a good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliationsBe comfortable working within a high-volume, transactional environmentHave strong ..... full job details .....
