Londoon and home counties Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and proactive Water Hygiene Technician to join our team. This role involves carrying out a range of water hygiene-related tasks in accordance with current health and safety legislation and industry best practices. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with ACOP L8, HSG274, and other relevant standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Cold Water Storage Tank (CWST) erection and dismantling in compliance with relevant procedures and regulations. Perform leak repairs on water systems as needed. Carry out Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) servicing, including checks, cleaning, and replacements. Undertake disinfection tasks, such as chlorination of water systems, mains, and storage tanks. Perform temperature monitoring of domestic water systems, ensuring compliance with legionella control standards. Conduct water sampling for laboratory analysis and ensure all results are documented and escalated appropriately. Complete accurate and timely reports, logs, and documentation using digital or manual systems. Liaise with clients on-site in a professional manner and report any issues or non-compliance. Ensure all work is carried out in line with internal procedures and industry regulations. Adhere to company health and safety policies and maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism on-site.
