Teaching AssistantJob overviewPhilosophy Education has has an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and efficient individual to join us in the role of Teaching Assistant. This role will suit both experienced TAs and is also be suitable for graduates looking to gain first-hand experience with a view to commencing Teacher Training with us in the future. We are keen to hear from candidates who have previous experience working with pupils who have a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) or SLCN (Speech, Language and Communication Needs).Successful candidates may work 1:1 with selected students, and also support small groups both in mainstream classes and in the inclusion area via intervention sessions. In addition, you will work closely with teachers to differentiate resources and set and monitor targets. You will have the opportunity to be part of a team that is truly changing lives and positively transforming the local community.
