Job Title: Plasma CutterLocation: Haverhill, SuffolkSalary: 15ph (Negotiable)Hours of work: 40 hours per weekContract: Temp-PermWe are looking for a skilled metal worker to come and run the plasma cutter for an engineering firm in Haverhill, Suffolk.Starting rate of 15ph+ (negotiable) with overtime available, all at time and half!The company had a full order book for the foreseeable and need an experienced machinist to join them, ideally with plasma cutting experience.Training can be provided if you have some form of engineering background, or other machining experience.Plasma Cutter duties: -Running the plasma cutterLoading and unloading of materialAssisting the fabrication team as and when requiredReading and working from CAD drawingsFamiliar with various fabrication machinery, i.e., saws, drills etc.Competent in the use of various hand and power toolsIdeally successful applicant will have come from an engineering apprenticeship / relevant qualification or will have practical experience working as a machine operator.Working hours 07:30-16:30, Monday-Thursday with an earlier finish on a Friday.This is a permanent, full-time role subject to a successful 3-month probation period.If you think this role may be of interest but would like some further information, then please contact Carl at Prime Appointments.
