Role - Associate Electrical Engineer (Building Services)
Location - Reading
Salary - Up to -70,000 + benefits
An established multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer (Building Services) to join their MEP team in Reading. You''ll lead projects from concept to completion, managing teams, liaising with clients, and delivering innovative electrical building services designs. Sectors include science & research, advanced manufacturing, education, defence, commercial, and residential.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage MEP project delivery.
Produce concept and detailed electrical designs using CAD/BIM (Revit).
Oversee junior engineers and foster team development.
Ensure projects meet quality, legislative, and health & safety standards.
Requirements:
Significant electrical building services design experience (consultancy or contractor background).
Strong project management and client relationship skills.
Relevant degree or HNC/HND; CEng/IEng achieved or in progress.
Proficient with design software and collaborative working.
- Be Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
