GBR Recruitment Limited are proud to be working on a new and highly interesting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our clients highly progressive Lincolnshire based Civil Engineering, Groundworks and Construction business (inc. full turnkey industrial and commercial builds, up to c.£10M) across Lincolnshire / South Yorkshire.As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the overall success of both small and major construction projects, successfully managing and monitoring the financial, plus contractual elements of all contracts.Applicants MUST HAVE Civils and Groundworks QS experience and ideally Oversites.This is your chance to work across a variety of construction projects, across a multitude of industry sectors.The role involves carrying out Quantity Surveying on not only civils and ground works, but also full turnkey builds across the industrial and commercial sectors (described in the construction industry as large sheds).Duties include:Pre-contract review of tender documents, performing quantity take-offs from drawings to confirm the amount of each item required for the successful project deliverySurveying of Civil Engineering Projects (project values worth anywhere from £20K to £7M)Production and management of accurate valuations, including subcontract enquiries, cost monitoring, Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs), cost variations, preparation of valuations and final accounts.Cost control measures, reporting monthly figures for profit and ..... full job details .....
