You’ll play a key role in designing secure, high-performance architectures for both active projects and new business opportunities.This is a hands-on technical leadership role, involving:Designing system architectures and estimating configuration effortSpecifying server hardware and network infrastructureBuilding and configuring virtualised environmentsCollaborating with our internal cyber team to ensure secure-by-design systemsSupporting project delivery through documentation, testing, and commissioningMinimum 5 years in OT or industrial environments, with expertise in:Virtualisation (VMware and/or HyperV)Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), domain setup, and Group PolicyNetwork switch and firewall configurationCybersecure system delivery aligned with IEC 62443Producing design and test documentation (FDS, SDS, FAT specs)Leading small projects or sub-teamsReviewing technical work and ensuring QA complianceWillingness to travel and a full UK driving licenceExperience in any of the following is a strong advantage:IEC61131 programming (ladder, FBD, SFC, structured text)Bay Controllers, RTUs, and gateways (GE, SEL, Siemens, Schneider)PLC technologies: Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, Schneider EcoStruxureCommunication protocols: IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3, IEC 60870-5-101/104Network architectures: RSTP, PRP, HSR; SDN and flow controllersSimulation tools: SIMIT, WinMOD, PICSRenewable energy control systems and legacy PLCsSafety systems (IEC 61508/61511)What We Offer
