SEND Teaching Assistant - Hayes (Immediate Start)
Envision Education is currently recruiting a committed and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Hayes. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (8:30am-3:30pm), with an immediate start available.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and looking to further develop their experience within a specialist school setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEND as a Teaching Assistant
- Support students with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Assist teachers in delivering inclusive, engaging, and differentiated lessons
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
- Encourage pupils'' independence, confidence, and social development
- Support with personal care where required
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
What We''re Looking For
- Availability to start immediately
- Previous experience working with children or young people in a professional setting
- Experience supporting pupils with additional needs (desirable but not essential)
- A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND
