Responsibilities Setting and operating CNC Milling machines Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate components using CNC mills. Utilise CAD software, such as SolidWorks, to create and modify programmes as required. Conduct tooling selection and setup, ensuring the correct tools are used for each job. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following all safety protocols related to materials handling and equipment use. Experience Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex engineering drawings. Familiarity with CAD software; experience with SolidWorks is highly desirable. Competence in basic maths for precise measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
