TeacherActive are proud to be one of the UK’s leading education recruitment agencies, working closely with Secondary Schools across the Maidstone area. We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to start this September, providing day-to-day and long-term cover across our partner schools.

The role of a Cover Supervisor includes:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes in KS3 and KS4

• Managing behaviour to ensure a calm and engaging learning environment

• Supporting students with their learning and encouraging participation

• Covering a variety of subjects and year groups across the school

• Ensuring lessons run smoothly in the absence of the class teacher

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• A CACHE Level 2/3 qualification OR at least 6 months of classroom experience

• The ability to manage a class of students aged 11–16 with confidence

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Flexibility to adapt to different subjects and school settings
