Our client is a well-established manufacturer of high quality Microbiology Consumables based in North Manchester. Due to continued expansion, a vacancy has arisen for a Laboratory Technician. The role will involve Quality Control inspection of all new and in-process components used within Cleanroom and finished goods inspection after sterilisation. Laboratory testing skills are essential for this role including managing product NCs, Complaints and lab work like TVC, EM, Aseptic technique, Organism identification, Managing Organism Stocks and membrane filtration. For the right candidate there is the possibility to assist with ongoing RandD projects. Working Hours: Hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 12.50pm. Salary £25000 to £30000 Duties: Raw material and finished product performance testing Inspection of Medical and Non-Medical products Culture Media making and Lab Stocks rotation Sterility and ATP testing Bioburdens, TVC and ID.
