Our dedication to delivering innovative solutions drives our work.The Governance and Process Assurance and Foundational Capabilities (GPAandFC) team combines UK Business Practices (BP) and Medical Ethics and Integrity (MEandI) teams, along with UK Privacy and Foundational Capabilities Leads. This organisation manages internal and external UK governance frameworks, privacy, SOPs, process assurance, ABPI Code of Practice compliance, and foundational training capabilities. The role supports sustainable Governance and Process Assurance and helps build foundational and strategic capabilities to enable high-standard, innovative activities and to differentiate our ways of working in the UK industry.Responsibilities
Develop knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and the corporate environment, including products and disease areas.
Help ensure a strong compliance network within the organisation.
Lead and deliver initiatives, including patient-focused projects as part of the Patient Engagement team.
Assist in adopting innovative technologies to deliver strategies across the business, including process simplification, automation, and AI/CoPilot.
Work with the Privacy team to ensure privacy alignment across the business.
Contribute to running the training programme to ensure employees have necessary skills and capabilities.
Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Marketing and other cross-functional teams to achieve objectives and build confidence, communication and presentation skills.

Requirements
Currently studying for a B.Sc. in life science, Pharmacy or equivalent healthcare qualification.
Project management experience with examples of delivering initiatives from start to finish with clear goals and objectives.
Strong planning and organisational skills.
Numerical, IT and analytical skills.
Experience in governance, process assurance, compliance, privacy or training is preferred.
You must be currently studying at a UK university and plan to complete a 12-month student internship as part of your undergraduate degree.
