Are you looking for a new role in education as a Teaching Assistant?

Academics have a fantastic opportunity for you. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our team and start a long term role as a TA in a welcoming, supportive and friendly school in Pontypool. The school have a fantastic senior leadership team and our candidates love going there.

Key requirements

• Support the classroom teacher in the preparation and delivery of lessons
• Work with small groups of children or on a 1:1 basis, helping pupils with their basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Develop and maintain a positive environment for pupils to learn in.

What do we need from you?

• Two recent and professional references
• Enhanced DBS and registration with the EWC (We can assist you with this)
• Ability to work Full Time
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant
