Mobile Mechanical Engineer

Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking for a mobile role covering London and the Home Counties

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join a growing team, working across a varied portfolio of commercial properties.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical and building services equipment. Working across multiple sites, you will carry out fault finding, repairs and maintenance while ensuring all works are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
• Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
• Working on pumps, valves, pipework and heating systems
• Maintenance of AHUs and FCUs
• Basic maintenance of boilers and associated plant
• Working on hot and cold water systems
• Plant room maintenance
• Small mechanical repairs and remedial works
• Completing accurate job sheets and maintenance reports
• Identifying additional works and remedial requirements
• Liaising professionally with clients and site teams
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with relevant regulations

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Mechanical or Building Services Engineer
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience within commercial building services or facilities management
• Experience working on a range of mechanical plant
• Good understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
