Job Title: Geotechnical EngineerLocation: Central London (with overseas projects)Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Are you a Geotechnical Engineer with a strong background in site investigations and contractor-led projects, looking for opportunities to work both in the UK and abroad? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established ground engineering contractor based in Central London. This role is heavily site-focused, offering hands-on involvement in ground investigations, supervision, and delivery of projects overseas alongside UK-based works. You will work closely with drilling teams, subcontractors, and project managers, gaining exposure to a wide range of ground conditions and investigation techniques across international infrastructure and development projects. The Role: As the Geotechnical Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Supervising and managing site investigations in the UK and overseasOverseeing drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing (CPTs, trial pits, boreholes)Logging soil and rock to current standardsCoordinating site teams, plant, and subcontractorsLiaising with clients, engineers, and project managers on siteContributing to factual and interpretative reporting where required About You: Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or similarExperience working for a ground investigation contractor or site-based consultancyStrong understanding of site investigation techniques and ground ..... full job details .....
