CAD Designer Wellingborough Monday-Friday 7:30am-15:30pm 20 per hour We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established company seeking an experienced CAD Designer with strong Vectorworks skills to join their design and production team on some new projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of bespoke projects from concept through to manufacture and installation. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings, ensuring creative concepts are translated into practical, buildable solutions. Duties:Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using Vectorworks for exciting new projects.Develop technical drawings for fabrication, build, and installation teamsPrepare layout plans, elevations, sections, and construction detailsWork closely with designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and buildableUpdate drawings in line with client feedback and project changesEnsure drawings comply with relevant regulations, venue guidelines, and company standardsMaintain organised drawing files and project documentationAssist with material specifications and basic production details where requiredRequirements:Proven experience as a CAD Designer, ideally within creative environmentsStrong proficiency in Vectorworks (essential)Solid understanding of construction methods and materialsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple bespoke projects in a ..... full job details .....
