At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work.The Revenue Accountant will work as part of a collaborative revenue team. This role will coordinate revenue posting and reporting, making sure all transactions that impact revenue are accurately accounted for.What you can expect to do in this role:
Responsibilities
Ensure the accurate posting and reporting of contract revenue schedules and service revenue
Review renewal contracts and make adjustments to ensure revenue timing is accurate
Learn and gain an understanding of software revenue recognition principles, ensuring compliance with ASC 606
Perform revenue allocations required under ASC 606
Assist in revenue reports for management and external reporting requirements
Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests
Work with Senior Revenue Accountant and Revenue Manager on special projects
Assist with audit requests
What we are looking for
Minimum of 1 year of revenue accounting experience (Required) OR 3 years general accounting experience (Required)
Software industry experience (Preferred)
Experience with ASC 606 (Preferred)
Ability to work in a high growth, fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong Excel skills
