Purpose of the Role:
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the accurate and timely execution of the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process. This includes maintaining integrity across the general ledger and sub-ledgers, supporting reliable financial data for decision-making across Finance and the broader business. The role is crucial in safeguarding financial accuracy, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.As the Revenue Accountant - Asset Management, you will be responsible for:Ensuring the accounts receivable process is run accurately and promptly, liaising with the CAM team as needed, and carrying out receipting of cash against invoices.Ensuring the month-end close occurs timely, with accurate and complete accruals, prepayments, and related journals.Reviewing rebate payments processed by outsourced suppliers.Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations.Providing insights and analysis to finance teams, such as aged debtor reporting and monthly revenue and cost figures handover.Working closely with the Statutory Accounting Team to manage audits effectively and ensure timely closure of actions.Supporting initiatives to improve the financial control framework.Managing risk and control oversight processes, including the monthly RCSA process.Updating operational procedures.What we require from the candidate:Qualified AccountantRevenue Accountant experience in asset managementFinance operations experience within the asset management industryProven experience in process improvement and developmentBalance reconciliation experienceNext steps: This client only accepts workers via an Umbrella/PAYE engagement model.
