Consultant Relations Director

Overview
Consultant Relations Director role at Aviva Investors, based in London. This is the contractual location for the successful candidate; other locations cannot be considered.What you’ll do
Collaborate with client relationship directors worldwide to build strategic partnerships with investment consultants.Proactively develop and strengthen relationships with advisory and delegated consultants, manager researchers, and C-suite contacts.Focus on securing new buy ratings and commercialising existing ratings across public markets, private markets, and alternatives.Work closely with investment teams and cross-functional groups—including Sustainable Investing, Market Intelligence, and RFPs—to present strategies and communications effectively to consultant firms globally.Share consultant feedback and market intelligence internally to support continuous improvement of products and business.Skills and experience
Experience working with leading UK and global consultants, and established relationships with key research decision-makers and field consultants.Knowledge of and ability to manage new business processes, including RFP oversight, pre-pitch work, pitch support, and follow-up.Practical knowledge of regulatory requirements in the UK; familiarity with the Global ex-UK regulatory landscape preferred.Strong motivation with the ability to work independently, set priorities, multitask, and meet aggressive deadlines and fundraising goals.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex investment strategies to a consultant audience.What you’ll get

In this role you’ll be ‘Certified’ under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means regulatory background checks are required before you start, and annual questions to ensure you remain fit and competent.
