Global Consultant Relations Director .Part of the Global Marketing and Client Experience team. The team focuses on understanding clients and the identification, development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC Asset Management brand, support the drive for revenue and increase client satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives.
In This Role You Will
Developing and executing the strategic account plans for Global, Local and Alternative Specialist Investment Consultant firms in the UK to ensure alignment with consultant themes and manager search priorities and HSBC AM’s investment offeringBuild strong relationships with consultants across Manager Research, Delegated and Field ConsultantsDeliver against the agreed financial and performance objectives (e.g. secure new ratings, AUM and revenue growth, client acquisition and retention)Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Investment teams, Investment Specialists across all asset class pillars (Equity, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, Alternative Investments and Liquidity) to drive engagement with investment consultants around HSBC’s investment capabilitiesEnsure that all Institutional business activity conforms to AM best practice standards and regulatory requirementsMaintain updated contact and activity records in CRM
Qualifications and Experience
Possess deep knowledge of the Asset Management segment including the relevant asset classes and associated investment processes is essentialA strong knowledge and understanding of the role that Investor Consultants play and how they work with Institutional Investors and increasingly other client segments such as Wealth Managers and Insurers is essentialEvidence of reputational credibility and recognition as a ‘Trusted Advisor’ across a varied audienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills and adept at selecting the appropriate messaging style and content to achieve maximum impactStrong analytical skills including working with financial models and an understanding of the fundamentals of investment appraisalCommercially led analytical lens with the ability to take a wide range of information and succinctly communicate it in a compelling manner
This role is based in London and will involve regular UK travel.
