Senior Civil Engineer

££ Location: Guildford
££ Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

An established infrastructure and transport planning consultancy with a team of 50 technical professionals is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their Guildford office.

About the Team and Company

You will be joining the Water Team, which consists of six members:

- Associate Director
- Technical Director
- 2x Principal Engineers
- 2x Engineers

The consultancy works across both public and private sectors throughout the UK, delivering a diverse range of projects, including:

- Residential, commercial, industrial, retail, and warehouse developments
- Energy projects, including wind farms, battery storage, and green parks
- Projects range from small-scale developments to large infrastructure schemes

Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, planning, and delivering development schemes. Your technical responsibilities will include:

- Producing drainage strategies using InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage
- Developing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)
- Engaging with section 104, 106, and 98 agreements

Key Qualifications and Skills

££ Strong engineering and project management skills
££ Experience in Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
££ Knowledge of Section 104, 106, and 98 agreements
££ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
££ Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, and other relevant software
££ Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
