About the Role:

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and helping to create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive learning environment for children aged 3andndash;5. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about early childhood education and is looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons
• Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom displays
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Helping with daily routines, including snack time, outdoor play, and personal care where necessary

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working with children in an Early Years setting (school or nursery)
• A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Teaching Assistance (desirable)
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
