The RoleWe’re seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Paid Media to lead our dynamic team and drive exceptional results for our clients across Paid Search and Paid Social. This senior role is central to the agency’s growth, responsible for the day-to-day operation of our Paid Media department, developing our service offering, managing key accounts, and line-managing a talented team. You’ll be directly accountable for client performance targets, paid team revenue growth, forecasting, retention, satisfaction, and overall commercial success.Responsibilities
Develop and execute an overarching paid media strategy aligned with client objectives and agency goals.Lead, mentor and inspire a high-performing team, ensuring professional development and high morale.Act as a senior point of contact for top-tier clients, building trust-based relationships.Own commercial targets for Paid Search and Paid Social, ensuring measurable ROI.Oversee planning, implementation, and optimisation of Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.Manage large ad spend budgets.Drive innovation through testing new platforms, tools, and campaign strategies.Develop 12-month growth roadmaps with advanced forecasting, data-backed KPIs, and regular performance reviews.Use advanced analytics (Shopify, Triple Whale, Motion, GA4, Looker Studio) to track MER, ROAS, CAC, and LTV.Transform data into actionable insights for creative adjustments and media strategy refinements.Deliver clear, detailed reports that link day-to-day tactics with long-term growth goals.Partner with Creative, CRM, and UX/CRO teams to deliver cohesive, multi-channel strategies.Act as the strategic anchor within client accounts, coordinating Paid Media Execs and Creative Strategists.Contribute to pitches and new business opportunities.Implement robust A/B testing and systematic account optimisation.Stay ahead of industry developments, including AI’s impact on Paid Media performance.Champion performance-driven creative by working closely with design and video teams.Line manage and develop Paid Media Team, setting clear objectives and growth plans.Build a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and high performance.Who you are

6+ years managing high-value client accounts in Paid Search and Paid Social with proven ROI resultsDemonstrated success in leading high-performing teams in an agency environmentDeep knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn Ads, Programmatic Display, SEO, and affiliate networksStrong commercial acumen with experience managing media budgets and driving revenue growthProven track record developing long-term strategies, testing roadmaps, and leading large-scale optimisationsExpert in analytics and attribution modelling (GA4, Looker Studio, Triple Whale)Comfortable with forecasting, budgeting, and profit accountabilityStrong grasp of upper-funnel media and its role in long-term growthAbility to build and maintain trust-based client relationships and present with confidenceExcellent leadership, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skillsFashion, beauty or furniture experience is advantageous but not essentialEmployment details
