A global SaaS organization is seeking a

Director of Solutions Engineering International

to be based in

London

. This leadership role will oversee Solutions Engineering teams across the

EMEA and APAC

regions. The ideal candidate will drive the functional and technical sales process, ensuring alignment between customer needs and product capabilities through discovery, requirements gathering, validation, and compelling product demonstrations.

As a strategic partner to Sales Leadership, Account Executives, and Channel Partners, you will lead a high-performing, diverse team. Youll also be responsible for innovating demo environments, integrating industry trends, and contributing insights for marketing and internal enablement. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation, a passion for solution selling, and a curiosity-driven mindset.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute a regional strategy for Solutions Engineering across EMEA and APAC. Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team while fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.Thought Leadership:Drive the creation of innovative demo environments and narratives. Incorporate industry trends and competitive intelligence into team practices and training.Partner with Account Executives and Channel Partners to support the sales cycle with strategic guidance, tailored presentations, and impactful demonstrations.Engage directly with key prospects and clients to understand their challenges and deliver customized solutions that highlight product value.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align on strategic initiatives and provide feedback for continuous improvement.Performance Management:Define and track KPIs to measure team effectiveness. Use data-driven insights to optimize performance and support business objectives.Regional Operations:Oversee operational aspects of the EMEA and APAC teams, including resource planning, budgeting, and process standardization. Adapt strategies to meet regional market needs.Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Share best practices across regions to elevate team performance.Client Success and Retention:Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.About You:Experience:10+ years in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or a related SaaS role, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity managing regional teams.Industry Knowledge:Background in Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management, or Service Provider industries is a plus.Leadership:Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse, high-performing teams.Technical Expertise:Strong understanding of software architecture and technical solutioning.Demonstrated success in solution selling and communicating value to both technical and business stakeholders.Strategic Thinking:Experience developing and executing strategic plans aligned with business goals.Analytical Skills:Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.Client Focus:Track record of building strong client relationships and delivering value.Passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.Seniority level
