We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major bridges package in Ilford. This is a long-term freelance opportunity, offering 12 months of work on a high-profile infrastructure scheme.Responsibilities

Oversee setting out and engineering works on bridge structuresEnsure works are completed in line with technical drawings and specificationsManage site engineers and coordinate with the site management teamLiaise with subcontractors and the client to ensure smooth deliveryConduct quality checks and maintain accurate site recordsContribute to health and safety and method statement reviewsRequirements

Proven experience working on bridge or heavy civil structuresMinimum of 5 years\'' site engineering experienceDegree or equivalent qualification in Civil EngineeringProficient in setting out using GPS/Total StationValid CSCS card and SSSTS/SMSTS (desirable)Strong communication and leadership skillsBenefits
