We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.Be an integral part of an agile team that''s constantly pushing the envelope to enhance, build, and deliver mission-critical foundational services for the JPMC Public Cloud Atlas product.As a Senior Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, within Cloud Foundational Services Marketplace (Infrastructure Platforms), you are an essential part of a curious and inspiring agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver Public Cloud products to application development teams across the entire firm. You’ll work with modern automation tools to enable Infrastructure as Code approaches on Public Cloud platforms. You’ll understand, develop, and apply cyber controls on Public Cloud ensuring usage aligns with firm-wide cyber policies. As a Senior Software Engineer, you are in the middle of complex problem areas, driving out solutions as part of the team.Job Responsibilities

Execute software solutions, design, develop, and troubleshoot with the ability to think beyond routine approaches to build solutions or resolve technical problems.Provide technical support and consultation to Product Lines and Lines of Business platform users.Create and own secure, high-quality production-level code.Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met by software development.Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore new and emerging technologies.Add to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles on Public Cloud (AWS preferred).Experience developing and testing using automation frameworks.Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Go, Python, Java).Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.Understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a discipline (cloud, AI, ML, mobile, etc.).Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

AWS and Terraform Certification.Experience designing and provisioning applications on AWS Services, Terraform, and Sentinel.Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.About Us
