Health and Safety ManagerLocation: KentJob Type: Full-timeSalary: £45,000-£50,000pa Reed HR have partnered with a fantastic company who are seeking a HandS Manager to act as the competent person and expert, enabling us to meet the requirements of health and safety law. This role is crucial in ensuring that safe systems of work are in place and that the expertise and profile of Occupational HandS is strengthened across all areas.Main Responsibilities:Develop and enforce corporate Occupational HandS policies that comply with legal guidelines and best practices.Manage and analyse data related to occupational HandS, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of incidents and accidents.Develop comprehensive health and safety strategies and plans.Provide expert advice on corporate HandS matters to managers and the Corporate Management Team.Develop and deliver training sessions on safety practices and emergency procedures.Ensure all staff understand their HandS responsibilities and carry them out effectively.Liaise with enforcing authorities such as the Health and Safety Executive and Environmental Health Officers.Required Skills and Qualifications:NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent degree/level 6 professional qualification.At least 3 years of experience in Occupational HandS roles such as HandS advisor, HandS officer, or safety coordinator.Extensive knowledge of HandS legislation, regulations, and standards.Skilled in risk assessment methodologies ..... full job details .....
