Following the recent insourcing of our statutory reporting function, they are now expanding their Group Finance team and are seeking a talented Financial Reporting Accountant to play a key role in this next phase.This is a newly created position designed to strengthen and expand the Group''s reporting capability. You will support the end-to-end statutory reporting process under IFRS and FRS 101, contribute to consolidations, and play a central role in managing the annual external audit.This is a high-impact role in a complex, multi-entity environment, offering direct exposure to senior leadership and investors, who take a close interest in audit outcomes and reporting quality.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport end-to-end statutory accounts production including mapping, tagging, and final reviewAssist with Group consolidation, ensuring accurate eliminations and timely quarterly reportingMaintain and update Group accounting policies in line with IFRS and FRS 101Prepare technical accounting papers (e.g. leases, revenue, impairment, financial instruments, business combinations, going concern)Act as a key point of contact for external auditorsSupport the planning, coordination, and delivery of the annual audit across Strengthen financial control frameworks across key areas (revenue, leases, capex, ..... full job details .....
