An immediate interim opportunity has arisen for an establishing and growing Finance department to recruit a Senior Financial Reporting and Controls Manager to join the team and drive the organisation''s financial reporting processes and strengthen internal control frameworks. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity across all financial information. We are looking for a candidate with strong technical expertise, excellent attention to detail, and a track record of improving financial processes within a dynamic environment. A competitive day rate on offer, along with a hybrid working pattern split between 3 x days onsite at their fantastic London Office and WFH. Duties: Responsible for all financial reporting aspects, including: Preparation of monthly management accounts and quarterly reportingPreparation of variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholdersBalance sheet reconciliationsStatutory accounting and liaison with external auditorsConsolidation processes and ensuring the accuracy of group reportingCorporation tax computationsVAT return submissions Own and maintain the organisation''s internal control framework, identifying control gaps and ensuring robust financial governanceDevelop and document accounting policies, procedures, and control narrativesBusiness partnering with operational teams to embed financial controls into day-to-day activitiesMentor and support junior finance team members, promoting a strong controls ..... full job details .....
