The Opportunity A highly regarded accountancy practice is seeking an ambitious Accounts Semi Senior or Senior to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities Preparation of statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio. Preparation of management accounts and supporting schedules. Assisting clients with accounting and financial reporting queries. Liaising directly with clients and maintaining strong working relationships. Supporting managers and partners with the delivery of client work. Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines. Assisting with bookkeeping, VAT returns and other compliance work where required. Supporting audit assignments where applicable (audit experience is advantageous but not essential). Candidate Profile Experience working within a UK accountancy practice. Strong accounts preparation experience is essential. ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, finalist, newly qualified, or qualified by experience. Audit experience would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite for the role.
