Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting an established, industry leading manufacturing business in the Cramlington area with their search for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer. Overall Purpose: To provide electrical support to ensure that the manufacturing process, facilities and services are managed and maintained to a high standard.Key Duties: Perform routine and preventive maintenance of production equipment to ensure a reliable manufacturing process.Perform calibration validition and corrections on equipment such as load cells and temperature controllers.Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machinery and supporting equipment.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, including but not limited to permits to work, pre-work risk assessment and method statements, LOTO, ATEX.Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and apprentices.Provide engineering support to the production process when required in order to improve machine output and rectify processing issues.Work alongisde the on-site project department to develop new/improved electrical control systems.Some of the core skills/knowledge:Familiarity with PLCs (Siemens preferably) is essential to aid in the diagnosis process.Experience with AC/DC drives (primarily Siemens and ABB predominatley).Kowledge/experience of Tension control systems.Bus network systems (Profibus, ..... full job details .....
