Job description
We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join primary schools across the Liverpool area. The role involves supporting children with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties), both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

Responsibilities
- Support pupils with SEN in and out of the classroom
- Assist the teacher with adapting lessons and managing behaviour
- Encourage pupils confidence, independence, and engagement
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to achieve the best outcomes

Requirements
- Previous UK experience in a school setting (essential)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- 2 professional references covering the last 2 years
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient approach
