Principal Health and Safety Coordinator (Housing) Location: Bristol Contract: Temporary initially 6 months Hours: 37 hours per week Working Pattern: Hybrid approximately 3 days in the office, with Tuesday and Wednesday office attendance mandatory Rate: Negotiable Start Date: ASAP Working Hours: Monday to Friday About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Principal Health and Safety Coordinator to join a busy Construction Safety Team within a Housing and Landlord Services environment. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving health and safety standards across housing repairs, maintenance and construction projects, helping to ensure safe working practices and positive outcomes for residents, contractors and employees. Working closely with the Construction Safety Manager, you will provide specialist health and safety advice, lead and support a team of Safety Coordinators, and help drive the implementation of health and safety strategies, systems and best practice across the service. The successful candidate will be confident working with managers and delivery teams, challenging contractor performance where necessary, and promoting a positive and proactive safety culture.
