An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to permanently join a rapidly expanding financial services organisation in London. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function. Your responsibilities will span processing supplier invoices and managing payment runs through to raising client invoices and reconciling payments. You will be involved in weekly bank reconciliations as well as monitoring company card usage. Month-end support will see you preparing journals, handling prepayments and accruals, while also assisting with payroll data preparation via PayFit. Candidate profile: 1 to 3 years in AP, AR or finance assistant roles, ideally in financial services, payments or fintech, or in a multi-entity business. Hands-on with bank recs, payment runs and some payroll would be preferable. Studying AAT, ACCA or ACA, or keen to start. Comfortable with Excel and analysis, and willing to take on supplier analysis.
