I am recruiting for an experienced Assistant Service Manager to support the day-to-day management of a supported accommodation service for young people aged . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership experience within supported accommodation, residential childcare or social care, who is passionate about safeguarding, positive outcomes and supporting young people towards independence. Key Responsibilities: Support the Registered Service Manager with the effective day-to-day management of the service. Provide leadership, guidance and support to staff, promoting a positive and accountable team culture. Ensure safeguarding concerns, incidents and risks are identified, recorded and escalated appropriately. Support staff to manage risks relating to exploitation, missing episodes, substance misuse, self-harm and other safeguarding concerns. Ensure young people receive person-centred, strengths-based support that promotes independence and preparation for adulthood. Monitor keywork sessions and ensure they are meaningful, purposeful and outcome-focused. Contribute to support plans, risk assessments, pathway plans and reviews. Support staff with supervision, performance management, coaching and professional development. Monitor staff attendance, performance, conduct and compliance with policies and procedures.
