Devonshire Hayes have partnered with a fantastic organisation as they are looking to hire a Group Systems Accountant. Below is the scope of this position.Primarily, my client is looking for a systems person to run the month end and system consolidation. So, someone who has administered a consolidations system. Secondary requirement is to be able to build reports.- While experience in Cognos would be ideal, while we can also consider alternate tools.- Some background and experience in SQL/VBA is needed.Perform monthly group consolidations in Cognos Controller.Manage the opening and closing of ledgers (Controller and base ledgers).Roll forward opening balances in Controller and Load monthly FX rates.Maintain and execute the month-end timetable.Post group-level journals (eliminations, offsetting, amortization of group intangibles).Monitor regional submissions and ensure timely completion.Review data quality and provide feedback to regional teams.Generate and distribute internal month-end reports from Controller.
