Job Responsibilities: Manage the statutory accounting process, ensuring all entities accounts are submitted on time to Companies House. Responsibility for compliance to accounting standards (IFRS and UK GAAP). Main point of contact for both internal and external auditors, ensuring any issues are resolved. Manage monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting process, ensuring all internal and external deadlines are met. Manage the VAT and Duty figures to be provided to external advisors to complete HMRC return. Review existing accounting practices and lead improvements in the monthly and quarterly processes. Oversight of Credit function and process ensuring sound risk management of accounts overdue, credit insurance. Support development transformation from an accounting and financial reporting during planning and implementation. Support corporation and deferred tax calculation and coordinate with the wider UK tax specialists to ensure full compliance with applicable legislation and group strategy. Lead the adoption of new standards and monitor correct implementation.
