Strategic HR Business Partner

We are currently working in partnership with a public sector organisation based in Wiltshire, who are recruiting for a Strategic HR Business Partner on a temporary basis until the end of March 2026 when the budget will be reviewed.This role offers a day rate of £550 via an umbrella company and will be on a hybrid basis, with three days working from home and mandatory office attendance on Wednesdays. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm with flexibility.The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR leader with the ability to operate as a senior strategic advisor, balancing organisational development and people strategy. The successful candidate must have public sector experience.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Acting as an extended member of the Senior Management Team for an allocated Directorate/Service, ensuring people considerations are embedded in service design and deliveryPartnering with senior leaders to develop and embed HR strategies that drive organisational performance and financial sustainabilityLeading organisational design and change management programmes, including workforce planning, restructures and transformation initiativesDeveloping and implementing talent strategies, including succession planning, leadership development, and talent acquisition to support a "grow our own" approachChampioning culture and engagement initiatives to drive inclusion, high performance and continuous improvementDriving performance management processes and ..... full job details .....
