Promoting Research Governance: Compliance with Regulations, Policy Implementation, Monitoring and Auditing of research activities to meet national requirements.

User and Carer Involvement: Engagement, Awareness and Training for staff to increase ability to undertake research and innovation activities, and Resource Allocation to support NIHR portfolio studies.

Financial Management and Income Generation: Budget management for the RandD department, generating income from external funders, and sustaining a balanced programme of studies.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services across multiple sites and serves a local population of approximately 350,000 with an extended catchment up to 500,000.
